While the weather has been lovely in leafy Hertfordshire recently, the title of this post actually refers to my hair: I decided to experiment with home colouring for the first time in 20+ years, and technology/product strength has clearly moved on as the result is not what I expected. I’m hoping it will grow on me over time… If not, it will grow out!

Auntie Flo is at the door, so I’ll probably be off for a few days, and back on Thursday or Friday (18-19th). Wish me luck, as during my week off I’ve got a very serious application form to fill in for membership of a professional society linked to my other job. It’s quite scary.

I thought I’d add a reminder of my 45-minute rate. It’s great value at £70 and perfect if you don’t have the time for an hour and yet feel rushed with just a half.
